Everyone can and should learn Mutual Funds and investing. The amount of information the average investor needs to understand is limited. Once this information is understood, it's possible to compare similar investment products.

Mike Walsh is the Founder of The Investment Language Teacher, a leading provider of Mutual Fund Education services for corporate employees. Mike teaches 3 investment classes at the CCSF Fort Mason Campus. The first class "Investment Basics for Everyone" is geared for anyone who has no experience at all with investing. The second class "How To Pick Stock and Bond Mutual Funds for Your Own Portfolio" focuses on the information you need to understand to be able to compare similar Mutual Funds. The third class "Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) – What You Need To Know for Your Own Portfolios".

Each class meets two nights for two hours. Class participation is highly encouraged. Mike has been teaching at CCSF since 2010, here are some quotes from people who have attended his classes in the past.

You can find more detailed course descriptions and the links to sign up for the upcoming Spring 2015 Semester classes on this page.
